We consider craftsmanship, building performance, water use, and the surrounding landscape together from the beginning. Our goal is a home that feels exceptional to live in, uses resources thoughtfully, and belongs to its setting. That means giving careful attention to the construction details behind the finishes as well as the spaces you see every day.

Early—even if you’re still exploring land, gathering ideas, or deciding what matters most to you. Share your property location, your goals, your approximate budget, and any plans you already have. An initial conversation helps us understand your project and whether our approach aligns with your priorities.

Collaborative, honest, and straightforward. We're here to guide the process, bring ideas to the table, and keep things moving.

We welcome collaboration with architects, engineers, and designers who share your goals. Involving the builder early creates an opportunity to consider design, construction methods, site conditions, and budget together. If you haven’t assembled a team, we can discuss the expertise your project may need.

Each home deserves a plan suited to its site and the people who will live there. We’re interested in solar and storage, rainwater catchment, appropriate grey water reuse, permeable surfaces, and native planting—but suitability, cost, maintenance, and approval requirements all matter. We want each feature to serve a clear purpose and work well with the rest of the home.

We begin with your priorities and consider where thoughtful design and construction can offer the most value. Comfort, durability, resource use, and maintenance all belong in that discussion. We aim to make tradeoffs clear so you can decide which strategies are essential, which are optional, and which may be planned for the future. Costs depend on the site, design, specifications, and project scope.
